^V^ Bizfun.forum, NOTED with appreciation ^V^ (Latest made in china fighting jet 歼-14)

^V^

One simple example to tell u guys why i do not believe in TA, as known to u guys, SSEX is now @4,200+-, Based on TA, I am very sure all TA indicators r pointing north n extremely bullish on its coming trend, BUT !!! u know i know n even Mr Alan green also commentted it is far too high n is due for big correction soon, see d point here ? Bubble already created in SSEX but still TA 's indicator showing bullish signal n called for long , does it make any sense ? ask yrself, If u were Mr alan, will u still call for long SSEX even all yr TA indicators r pointing north ?

Do I needs to hold 3 -4 years for my stock to rise ? pls check my portfolio to get d answer 4 yrself ^V^ average time frame for me to make gain is about 3.5 months ^V^

Regarding Loan stock n warrant, check its mom 's background, r they not solid FA n blue chip ? n for those hit n run speculation stock, check its weightage of my total portfolio, not even 2 % of my holding !

Lastly, am i d only blogger does not believe in TA ?? check what has commentted by OLD investssmart (OLD one not d one whose tumpang ppl's blog..ok ?) about his view on TA ^V^

No comment due to following reasons:
1) No dealings with this guy
2) No postings which reveal method used - whether it is TA or FA or other methods, it is only his claim.

I had been watching his blog for few weeks. What I can say is fantastic result. It maybe true if you look at his portfolio at picasa. He hides his name, one of the printed statement showing Lim T. T. Maybe you all can guest..

He is using FA, but I am sure it is not the real FA investor. Look at his portfolio, he even bought loan stock, warrant, and high debt counter. He ignore fundamental during bull run. Mostly go for high volume counters.

Finally, we don't know his strategies at all after reading his blog. I am glad if we can learn something from him or somebody please invite him to join us.

His method is pure FA. In order to know whether it's true or not.... u gotta join his private discussion. It was by invitation. Not all can get that as I heard there are plenty of guys who betray him eventually. You know lar....
His posting as seen in the blog is merely some final results where only his group of people know what's going on..... or perhaps the statement on his blog was purely for people who betray him

Bro: maybe he can see some FA value even though it was loan stock/ warrant/ high debt counter. For goodness sake, this is what I respect him most. well, FA also got different method, I believe.
As I mentioned b4, u gotta join his private discussion in orders to capture his strategies. By reading his blog, it was just some final results and some victory claim against those who hentam him.
To invite him is a big issue. As far as I known, this guy is a bit ego man. Well, he deserved it as he is really brilliant IMHO. Hence, I thought it was kinda difficult to invite him here. Secondly, I thought most guys here are pure TA guys.. So, with his ego and his strong feeling against TA, I thought it was kinda difficult to invite him here. No offence, but how many TA guys will accept him here? By then, I think he also can't accept plenty of TA thoughts here. To be frank (as I am not a TA guy too), I thought I myself being isolated sometimes here..... No hard feeling, but I think different method / thinking just can't exist together.....
Anyway, I will try to send him an email...... see whether he response or not.....

Bro:
what's the probs if a stock earn huge return even if we need to hold on for few years? No offence, but it's a facts that traders are looking for huge return, right? For example, I am holding few counters (Digi, UMW, just to name few) for almost 1 year plus now althought I did some partially selling for the past few months. But, I am glad with that.
"So if you want to follow him you must

have GOD. " --> what do u mean here? can't get it. soli ah.....

Alex,
I m not sure why you kept saying you do not use TA.
If you think TA is only about indicator then you misunderstand TA.
When you say breakout system, isnt it referring to price breakout or some pivot breakout?
That sound like a system based on TA to me.

Bro:
I keep on saying that I do not use TA as I really don't know how to use TA. My limited knowledge was only limited to MA, ADX kind of stuff. But, I do not really know how to use them. The only thing I trust most is the fibonacci. That also i used it for exit purpose only. The other stuff that i used is the ATR / ADX for the sake to measure volatility in order to adjust my positions entry. Hence, I should not said I did not use it 100% as I utilised Fibo, ADX and ATR . Sorry for that....
As for breakout, it was merely a calculation by price without utilising the chart at all. Yes, maybe it was the same theory compares to supp/res or pivotal stuff. But, I think it is not TA since no charting involved.... I started to blur liao..... what is TA ah? Maybe like u said, I really misunderstood the concept of TA. But, my experiences in TA (which I learnt it since 90 something) really giving me big headache for the past. Hence, I actually envy those who knows how to use TA properly. (sincerely )
Apart from fibo (exit) and the tools for measure volatility (positions entry), I really do not know how to utilise others. Even the breakout by turtles for me is too lagging sometimes. IMHO, if it use for share trading, everything was fine. But to deal with commodities and derivatives, it was tough as I think many of the TA tools tend to conflict with each other.
Anyway, just my humble 2 cents. Correct me if I am wrong....

I call the tools you use TA.
ADX, etc etc are indicators which are definitely TA.
FIb - mainly used by TA.
Calculations - without knowing how you count, I would not know for sure, but I made calculations in Excel as well without charting. Also TA.

So in conclusion, if it look like a duck, quacks like a duck, must be a duck, Mr TA.
