How to justify that it is indeed a value buy ?
my 2 cents of analysis n calculation :
u hv the right to convert it to mother share with 4.54 5 years later,
First calculate ur cost factor.
cost factor= ur avg return per annum which can be earned by u if u never invest it in other place, in this case , 4.54 is the money u saved within 5 years perion.
For me my avg annual return ia appmx : 40 to 50% bank avg Fd int 6% , weak man negative %, so we take 10% for cost factor.
Cost factor for YTLwb= 1.1 x 1.1 x 1.1 x1.1 x1.1 x1.1 x RM4540=RM2770+-
RM2770+ RM720 (current price for YTLWB) = RM3489 .
Look, this is what u r buying now, ur total cost @ 2009 is only =RM3489 if u do the conversion.
NTA for YTL = 3.30
EPS =0.35 per annum ( to sustain it ,shouldnt be any problem )
Theoritically NTA for YTL 5 years from now = 0.35 x 5 + 3.30= 5.05, base on NTA alone u already made RM1561 (RM5050-3489) ^V^ dont forget 5 year from now the price for YTL should be much much higher than its NTA of 5.50 ^V^
The above is only applicable on stock with good earning n management track records like PBB, PPB , YTL...... dont apply it on speculative n lousy stocks with no fundamental back up ^V^
Those with accounting knowledge should be able to understand my explaination.
Buy on dip, 2 stages 0.72+- n 0.65+- if u can ^V^

Guys, i hv bought back xxxxxxx @0.51 this morning , not much , only 1/3 of my allocated fund , my cash vs shares now stood at ratio of 0.9 to 0.1 ^V^
U can see she is staying around this level 4 past 2 motnhs , with d improvement of mkt sentiment ( though d financial crisis is still far from over ), I decided to buy in some (1/3) @ current level to prevent me from lefting behind , d other 2/3 i will queue @0.40 n 0.38 which i think is not easy to reach ^V^
XXXXX is just like ytlwb , in fact i rated it as much better than ytlwb , calculate n analyse yrself , dont u think xxxxx is much better than ytlwb @0.52 meh ?
Twseong needs 3 years to earn him one free double storey terrace from Ytlwb , It shouldnt be any problem 4 xxxx to earn u a single storey terrace hse in 2 to 3 years time ! definitely not a problem at all ! doubt ? keep this posting under yr pillow n prove me wrong when time due !
