UB40 - UB44

On this date in 1982, UB40 released their fourth album, UB44. It contained the single, "So Here I Am" (#25 U.K.) plus remixed versions of their singles, "Love Is All Is Alright" (#29 U.K.) and "I Won't Close My Eyes" (#32 U.K.). The album reached the #4 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The Birmingham, England reggae band continues to record and perform.
