Mohun Bagan appoint Subrata Bhattacharya as TD and Prasanta Banerjee as Coach

Much to the delight of the Mohun Bagan fans who were asking for the appointment of Subrata Bhattacrya as the successor of Steve Darby, Subrata Bhattacharya was declared as the Technical Directore of Mohun Bagan while Prasanta Banerjee was handed over the job of Coach. Subrata Bhattacharya, could not be given role of Coach as he does not have a AFC 'A' Licence under his name which is a must for the clubs as the rule has been imposed by The All India Football Federation(AIFF). Subrata Bhattacharya's name was doing the rounds among the club fans as well as the officials straight after Mohun Bagan's below par performance in the very first tournament of the season, The Federation Cup, where they disappointingly failed to beat any teams and crashed out of the group stage.

Only time will tell whether the ever so controversial but yet known to be one of the best tacticians in the Indian Football, Subrata Bhattacharya can do it for the Mariners.
