* Serdar Tasci (born 24 April 1987 in Esslingen am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg) is a German football player who plays as a defender for German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and the German national team.
Tasci was born in West Germany to Turkish parents. Because of his Turkish descent and German birth right, he was eligible to play for either Germany or Turkey, but in October 2006 he decided to pursue a career for Germany.
