Many believe that when a baby dies without being baptized, it leads to the possession of evil. Sheila (Rica Peralejo), Rina (Jennylyn Mercado), Christian (Mark Herras) and Kerwin (JC De Vera), along with their friends, do not believe in such stories.

Against the advice of a concerned mythology professor, they decided to take an out of town trip during the Holy Week.

In the beggining, it would seem like they made the right choice.

But certain events, all seeming to revolve around the dreams and premonitions of Sheila about young evil lurking in the area, are deeply disturbing; disappearance, mysterious children, and strange old woman.

The troubling incidents multiply, pointing to something wrong and it seems they have no way out.

Then tragedy strikes closer when one of them turns out to be the evil himself.

Now, they realize that some of them must make the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the unspeakable terror that awaits them all.

Some of them have to die for the others to live.

Gma Films has been quite late for releasing their first ever horror movie this 2010.Dubbed as "Babang Luksa" this movie has got to be astoundingly terrifying.I am expecting this movie to feature the usual "Babang Luksa" scenario but of course with unpredictable scary twists.

A closer look on the title and you'll know what it's going to be about.And if ever you don't here's how "Babang Luksa" is like.After a death in the family, devout Filipino Catholics mourn by wearing black or by pinning a small black rectangle on their upper garments (usually on the left side of the chest). On the first-year death anniversary, the death is remembered and from then on clothes in bright colors can be worn again.

Gma Films has worked with Reality Entertainment to even make this movie - a thrilling account.And I do hope so!

September last year, Pep.ph has cornered Sunshine Dizon to give some details about Babang Luksa and she said during the interview and I quote:

"I'm not sure pa of the full cast but it's gonna be directed by Erik Matti. I'll be working with Mark Anthony Fernandez but I cannot reveal the identities of the other characters. It's a horror film. And it's like a family story parang one of the family members died, basically that's the plot. Nagbababang luksa ang family pero may mga mysteries, things that will happen throughout the movie."
