美国联邦储备委员会前主席艾伦·格林斯潘14日说，美国正陷于“百年一遇”的金融危机中；这场危机引发经济衰退的可能性正在增大。
格林斯潘在接受美国全国广播公司采访时说，这是他职业生涯中所见最严重的一次金融危机，可能仍将持续相当长时间，并继续影响美国房地产价格。
格林斯潘认为，这场危机将持续成为一股“腐蚀性”力量，直至美国房地产价格稳定下来；危机还将诱发全球一系列经济动荡。
当被问及美国躲过经济衰退的几率能否超过5成时，格林斯潘回答说，他认为这一几率小于50%。
“我不相信，一场百年一遇的金融危机不对实体经济造成重创，我认为这正在发生，”他说。
格林斯潘还预测，将有更多大型金融机构在这场危机中倒下。

2 b very honest , i dont think 1,000 shld b d bottom , there r so many pending uncertainties such as 916 ( it could be 918 ,930 or even 1015 ), US financial crisis , UMNO internal problems n etc...
This is really a tough test 4 me , @ KLCI 1,130 , xxxxx stood at today closing price , KLCI is now 1,025+, she still stood like a rock despite 100 points drop from 1,130 ! what d hack ^V^
U may ask me , what if KLCI touched 1,000 n she reluctant to slide ? how ? buy at current price ?? ha ha..i also dont know how 2 answer u larrrrr
I hv already make up my mind , once she touch 0.40+- , i will start 2 level buy liaoooo ^V^ even if u manage to buy @ anything below 0.40 , dont b so happy my friend , i dont think u can make fast profit in short term , it needs time 4 mkt 2 recover ^V^
