I hv taken RM 44,099.30 profit in month of Oct (Thanks to Liondiv ,Muind n Bjcorp ),unrealised profit is now stood at RM48,229.00^V^ My cash vs shares status is currently stood at 0.45 : 0.55,which is in healthy position, I feel extremely comfortable with overall returns of 321% or profit of RM577,071.50 !

For those who holding Engtex, RCEcap n Mahsing, second wave of rise will surely come $$$$$ !

Anything below 1.70 is a gem, its recent fall is due to Koperasi Pemodalan fund disposal, KP fund ? what's that ? ha ha as u know most of d government funds r lousy fund ,hence no worry, as long as Capital group is still holding n its FA still remained unchanged, is only matter of time for her to fly > 2.00 !(its fair value should be 2.50+-)

2Qtrs giving u eps of 8.1cts (after split) , for her to achieve 20cts for year 07 is definitely not a problem, hence , at current price of 1.65 , its PE is around 8 +, check around, can u find any property counter cheaper than her besides Plenitude ?

As i said, seeing USD depreciating n Asia currencies appreciating, besides shares , property is another alternative for them to park their fund.

Oilcorp coming ? with d current oil n plantation theme hanging around, i think "yes" ! In term of PE, oil corp is d cheapest among d oil stocks, unfortunately i am still running at little loss with cost around 1.32+ he he.

Back to PE, I left out one important factor of how to avoid wrong picking of Low Pe stock. :-

GEARING = Asset vs Debt

Gearing below 0.5 ( U hv cash $1.00 vs debt of 0.50 )is considered healthy

0.5 to 0.8 ( Cash 1.00 vs debt of 0.50 to 0.80 ) considered normal n acceptable

U should avoid Low PE stock which gearing exceeded 1 !

gearing exceeded 1 means u hv $1.00 but u hv debt more than $1.00

One classical example := Megan

Megan was once stood at PE 2+ (50% return per annum ), in d same time its gearing almost touching 2, in short :- they hv one dollar in hand n also 2 dollars in debt .

If u r not from accounting back ground to find out what is its gearing stand from balance sheet, u can either find it from osk data base or the edge .

FYI, Plenitude is one of d million that having gearing of ZERO ! Low PE(7) plus high NTA >5.00 ( its current NTA 3.20 was calculated in year 2000, by now it should worth >5.00 at least ) ^V^

Stocks that i sold such as bjcorp, Muind n Kfima r for d purpose of swap, will do it on Friday ( one day b4 Raya).

^V^ PE (4) How to fish ? n a girl with gun (right method) able to hunt tiger easier than a man using pillow (wrong method) to hunt ^V^

I am not saying stock with PE < 10 will definitely profit u ! but !!! at least u know what u r buying n u wont over pay for what u bought ^V^

No matter how, u still hv to take some risk even stocks that u bought r all below PE 10, everybody know how to buy LOW PE stock, but not everyone able to catch low PE stock with sustainable future earning ( here i am talking about sustainability of its future earning, of course if her earning jumped above yr forecast is even better ). D key success here is "Future earning "

Example

Stock X

Share price = 1.50

EPS for 2 qtrs = 15.64

Let presume that stock X managed to maintain such a good earning for d coming 2 qtrs , hence, 15.64cts x 2 = 31.28 cts for year 08 ^V^

If my forecasting turn to be good, 31.28 cts will translate its PE to 4.7 (21% return per year)with current price of 1.50, let assume d PE for its industry stood at 13+-, its fair value should be 13 x 31.28 = RM 4 + ! even PE 10 will still give u fair value of 3.10+ ^V^

D above r with d assumption that what u hv forecasted r in line with yr forecasting ^V^

What happen IF >>>>

What happen if d coming 2 qtrs turn to be an lousy one, presuming she running at huge loss with negative EPS of 30cts !??

let calculate again..

first 2qtrs EPS = 31.28, d other 2 qtrs giving u -0.30cts

D whole year EPS is now 31.28 - 0.30 = 1.28cts

yr PE is now 1.50/ 1.28 x 100 = 117 !!!

what is PE 117 stand for ?

PE 117 stand for 0.85 % return per year or u needs 117 years to recover what u hv invested ! (why buying such stock that giving u return of 0.8% if u can enjoy FD rate of 6.6 % with zero risk !??)


See ? future earning will determine d movement of yr share price ^V^

Then how to minimise yr risk from wrong picking ?

2 ways :-

1)Track earning records

Its 3 to 5 years track earning records : check d earning track records for stock like PBB, YTL , BAT , Maxis, IOI.... NO losses at all for past 10 years !!
That's y i always ask u ppl to follow those with track proven results blogger ..ha ha

2)What is on going now n years to come

example : We know 9mp is hot going n it will on going for another 2 to 3 years time, Mega projects need steel (http://www.theedgedaily.com/cms/content.jsp?id=com.tms.cms.article.Article_6f4bdce6-cb73c03a-6798eb00-5043bd24 ) , cement, timber n ..... from here I know n confident that d coming 2 qtrs earning for masteel n onastel r definitely sustainable ^V^ hence, their coming earning will definitely in line with what i hv forecasted .


Guys, no easy n fast money from KLSE, we need to use brain n also d right method (FA) in order to acheive financial freedom from stock mkt. If Metastock really work as it is, why there r still ppl losing money after using it ? they may say bcos u r slow n dont know how to interprate it ! Excuse me ! this is IT world, they can programme in such a way that when d software detected a buy signal, alert u n u jump in ,same goes to sell^V^ dont tell me they cant do such a simple programming !! d only reason why they dare not to do that is bcos they r lack of confidence n need something to cover their ass.

Since we know d avg FD rate is around 6.6 % or equivalent to PE 15 , this given us a guide to weigh how value buy the stocks u intended to buy r ^V^ theorititally no one wanted to buy stock with PE > 15 cos it given u return per annum less than 6.6%, why should u invest in something which is lower than avg FD rate ? further more , putting yr money in FD is zero risk as compared to putting yr money in stock (PE >15) that giving u annual return less than 6.6% !?

Take yrself as a biz man, if u want 2 buy up a biz, which company u prefer ? company with annual return more than avg FD rate or company return less than avg FD ? if less tha avg FD , why should u buy ? might as well put yr money in FD that given u zero risk ?? now u know why i said stock with PE stood around 5+ like masteel, onastel n plenitude r germ of d germs $$$$ !

R all d stocks with PE > 15 r lousy buy ? NOPE ! different industry has different PE. Banking (MBB, PBB ), gaming (Genting, resort, bjtoto ) n monopoly biz ( Tenaga, TM,Maxis, digi, Plus)usually having higher PE than others, they r not going to sell u their biz less than FD rate or PE at 15 ! that is for sure ! if u want to know why ? perhaps u should ask those who bought PBB, Genting, MBB , YTL 20 years ago n still holding till todate, ask them how much they hv profited from them ? FYI, they will not getting less than 15% return PER ANNUM !!! know what is 15% return equivalent to ? it is as same as PE 7 !! Hence, dont try to be smart n ask uncle lim to sell his Genting to u @ PE 15, he will definitely give u a right n left side kick on yr head or may be plus another twist kick on yr private part !

Conclusion, for safe play, unless it is a blue chip counter , otherwise, i will not buy any stock with PE > 15 for FA play ^V^

I am very sure most of u r mouth watering seeing bjcorp n muind shot up like nobody biz today, yes..mkt focus on lower liners esp those <0.50 stocks, let take a look at these 2 babies SKPRES n KELADI :-

QTQ its earning increased 63% from 0.52 to 0.85, based on one qtr earning of 0.85, for her to sustains it current eps for d rest of d qtrs should not be a problem, hence, 4 x 0.85 = 3.4 , PE 0.18/0.34 =5 , if u translate PE5 into FD rate , she is actually giving u 20% return per annum excluding its dividend , see d germ ?


KELADI

QTQ its earning jumped 256% from 3.16 to 11.25 (share split 1 to 10 ), based on 2 qtrs earning of 1.25 cts , for her to achieve 2.5cts is something sup sup sui ! thus PE = 0.25/5 = 5 , it is 20% return per annum also excluding its dividend.

If u think it is worth to hold Muind for more than 6 months which giving u >60% return from 0.29 cts to current price of 0.50 !then u should consider d above babies for yr portfolio ^V^

i understand your explain already. by the way, BJ CORP has PE = 23.24. Meaning to said for every one dollar u invest period must more 23 years to get capital return. But how come BJCORP counter can shooting up/ capital appreciation for 1 time just for a week??

halo herbert, u r wrong again ! first of all, even without FA, VT 's stocks r always rated as goreng stock, no surprise at all ^V^ when bjcorp announced its 1st qtr eps @ 4.2 cts last month,it showed a turn around of bjcorp ! bear in mind.. 4.2 cts is only for 1 qtr, theoretically, 4qtrs x 0.42cts , it will give u EPS for year 08 of 16.8 cts, buying at 0.555 , u r actually buying at PE 3.3 $$$$$$ , see that ? even if she cant sustains its EPS of 0.42cts for d rest of d qtrs, for her to achieve 6cts through out d year should not be a problem ! if u calculate based on 6cts , its pe is still below 10 ! dont forget :- vain lady cant stand loneliness, therefore, I am confident VT will definitely goreng it based on his track goreng records, d only problem was i dare not to sai lang all on bjcorp due to his dirty play records, if bjcorp fall under YTL group or Ijm group, i can assure u i will place at least 200 lots on it !

take d average , i will say is around 6.5% ^V^ agreed guys ?

hence : - PE 15 is as same as 6.6% FD rate, how i got that ?

simple :- 1/15 x100% = 6.6%

if PE @ 20 means 1/20 x 100% = 5%

If PE @ 25 means 1/25 x 100% = 4%

If PE @ 30 means 1/30 x 100% = 3.3%

If u invested one dollar in stock x, n this stock x giving u EPS of 10cts ( 1/0.10 = PE 10 ), this means it needs 10 years for u to gain back yr capital of one dollar ^V^

In short PE 10 means u need 10 years to recover yr capital

PE 20 means u need 20 years to recover yr capital

Now calculate yrself, if stock x traded at PE 3 , answer me, what is d FD rate for PE 3 ? n u need how many years to recover yr capital ?

If u can answer that.. this show u r HALF understand d magic key of PE !

No genius in stock mkt except Warren Buffet ^V^ why warren buffet can be genius in stock mkt ? it is not bcos of his IQ, in fact his iq is only so so ( tested n confessed by himself), it is d method that adopted by him that make him what he is today ! he has proven track records, he is d best in world of shares investment, i am not even 1/100 of him but i knew very well, in order to achieve financial freedom from shares mkt,his FA method is d only way for me to sail high in stock mkt.

I hv mentioned many times in my blog, stocks like masteel, onastel n plenitude r meant for mid term hold, where else d rest r aim for short term play ^V^ more towards hit n run , if u r observant enough, u can see that i hv never choose stock with PE more than 15 n also stock with no proven track earning records ! of course i know Low PE does not guaranteed me sure win $$$ ( example : Megan ), but do u know what is d secret method behind my Low PE selection ? ha ha.. though d success rate is not 100% but what i can tell u is :- so far so good ^V^

Ben, yr TP for Bjcorp is 1.50 ?? nothing is impossible esp V T 's counters, look at how he goreng BJLAND n BJCAP , I will buy back bjcorp @ anything below 0.65 if that happen ^V^

Mkt will due for technical correction soon after such a strong surge from 1,280 to current level of 1,377,besides ours, Hang Seng is also due for correction anytime from now, hence, take profit is d most ideal way to protect yr profit.

What I am worry is if d long due correction fall on next week esp towards d Raya holiday, u will see huge selling pressure will sweep all d way down, save some bullets for rainy days, I will sell along d rise n wait for another opportunity to whack it kow kow again ^V^
