20th November, the day when the two Kolkata giants - "East Bengal" and "Mohun Bagan" meet in one of the biggest clash of i-League till now. Considered as one of the most exciting derby's in the World, emotions and passions for the same can be easily seen among the fans of both clubs in Social Networking sites. The pressure of the derby can be felt from the moment the AIFF or the IFA releases the season's fixtures for the i-League or the CFL. Both teams having the most fan following in India, will be hoping for nothing less than a win in the important i-League clash no matter how it comes. Sometimes, the emotions can be seen on the football pitch where many crumble and many make their names in the history books. Some are worshipped and some are abandoned. "Many" will be comparatively a small word for the number of coaches those have faced the axe after a derby loss.

Nevertheless, The derby draws much more positives than the negatives. Undoubtedly it gets the maximum turnouts for any i-League match.  Sometimes, much greater than other top derby's in the entire world. Atmosphere in the ground is always electric and the crowd are on full swing. A true champion always comes up everytime at the big stage. The crowd of over 50,000 can create havoc in the minds of the players on the field when they turn their heads towards the spectacular view.

The real "mazza" of the game can only be felt when one is in the stadium. That can be an East Bengal or Mohun Bagan supporter, cheering every move of his or her team. Few neutrals also turn out for the clash of the giants and they have get their own taste. They can entertain themselves from every minute of the game be it the Red and Golds or the Mariners.

Most of the time the crowd are expected to get a goal feast but the fear is always for the one on the receiving side. For the winning side, it is bigger than any win of the season. When one set of supporters cheer and dance in the streets with joy, the other end of supports return back to their homes heartbroken, disgusted and more concerned of what they will face in the days to come.

" Its all about getting the elusive win, no matter how they come. Its all about getting the bragging right."
Indian football-The blog wishes both set of teams, best of luck and at the same time believes that no major casualty occur.

Say us what does the derby means to you....and we will let others know your view.
