Bahrain crush India, Australia tie S Korea

DOHA - Bahrain thrashed India 5-2 while Australia pulled off a 1-1 draw against South Korea on Friday in the Asian Cup Group C games.
Bahrain striker Ismaeel Abdulatif scored four goals to keep alive his side's hopes of reaching the quarterfinals and kicked India out the tournament's knockout stage.
South Korea had the better start between two of Asia's top teams and took the lead after Koo Ja-cheol scored in the 24th minute.
Australia had the better chances in the second half and equalized in the 62nd through Mile Jedinak's goal.
The match was billed as a possible rehearsal for the final between the two powerhouses in Asia.
