Henry was fined $2,000 by MLS after being found guilty of reckless play after injuring Kevin Hartman while celebrating a goal during a game against FC Dallas on 16 September 2010. In January 2011 it was announced that Henry returned to Arsenal's training ground at London Colney to maintain his fitness during the MLS close-season.

Reflecting on the challenge, Young said: “It was harder than I thought it would be because of the weight of the ball and having to strike it so low over a relatively short length of space. Hats off to Patrice and Berbatov; they showed unbelievable skills. And all I can say about Chris is ‘he tried his best!’”
