Le Burgundy Hotel in Paris

To keep with my traveling mood, today we are going on a virtual vacation to a fabulous new hotel in Paris, Le Burgundy.
Enjoy!
I'll post some photos (if I take any good ones!) from Melbourne, after I get back from our holiday. Wishing you all a lovely week and weekend!

The Wanderers

I'm feeling a bit of wanderlust, since I'm about to go away on holiday, for a few days, with my beloved G. This fashion spread suits my mood today. Hope you all enjoy it too!

Being a romantic sort of gal... I'm all for celebrating Valentine's Day. And, having been lucky enough to have found the great love of my life, I'm incredibly happy to be sharing it with him. My darling, Glen, means the

sea view

I'm craving a view of the sea, like the one seen from this fabulous house. I'm guessing, seeing as there is a Norfolk Island Pine tree on the right, that this home is somewhere in Australia, since those trees grow all along the coast here.
Lucky for me, G just got word that he can take a week off work in early March. That means (sing it with me) HOLIDAY! Celebrate! ... Ok, sorry for the

Cheers!

We had quite a memorable holiday weekend, to put it mildly. Let's just say that Glen and I are very glad to be returning to our normal life together, minus the stress of Christmas.
I learned how to prepare prawns, when we made them for Christmas Eve dinner, with Glen's daughters. I must say, I don't ever plan to do that again! Beheading my food is not something I would like to repeat. Next time

Last year, my wonderful man and I enjoyed our first Christmas together, and I wore a red dress. It was just a little cotton sundress, but it still looked quite glamorous in

I tend to prefer soft colors and all things glittery, sparkly, and pretty. So, when it comes to holiday decorations, I love to use pastels, silver, and white. I especially like vintage ornaments, and those adorable little glitter houses, which my

Cranberry Shortbread

A holiday classic, shortbread cookies, with the added zing of cranberries... Sounds good to me! I always like to have shortbread cookies around this time of year. The pop of bright red, in these cookies, looks so festive!

Happy Thanksgiving!

***
To all of you in America, I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
This holiday will probably be the last one, for quite a while, which I will spend with my family, here in the States. One week from today, I will return to Australia, to be with Glen. I'm very excited to be going back, to be with the great love of my life. I will miss my family, though. So I will be savoring today, and I'm

Appetizing Bites

Are you looking for some great appetizers to serve for the holidays?

Thanksgiving is just two days away, here in the States. If you are like me, the appetizer portion of a dinner party (or "nibbles", as they say in Australia) eludes me, until the last minute. Then I remember, "Oh, yes, people need to snack on something before dinner!" Maybe you are having that kind of moment right now.
Well,

Thanksgiving Table Ideas

The Thanksgiving holiday is fast approaching, here in America. So, I'm sure that many of you are looking for inspiration for setting a beautiful table. If I would be hosting dinner this year, here are some things I would love to style my table and dining room with.
