The journey in solving the greatest mysteries of life begins on the first day of school.Brainy Indy (Kim), MVP MJ2 (Gerald), Sosy Pre (Maja), Rebel Gael (Geoff) and Nice Guy Nathan (Jason) are college freshmen who enter FDH University without knowing what college life will bring them.
Until they all got involved in the biggest mystery the university has ever encountered- B.W.A.C.A. or Basketball Water Contamination Accident.
Initial investigation shows that the water drank by the players during the game was contaminated by a mysterious substance.
But the more surprising finding was that the culprit is from the same school!
Alex Boy (Gerald Anderson) returns to the Philippines from Singapore with his mom, Tessa (Chinchin Gutierrez). His father’s job in a multinational company brought them to live in many parts of the world and he really never had something he can call home. He can’t seem to focus on anything; he easily starts a hobby but never really finishes it. With the news of his parents breaking-up, Alex Boy has to do everything to achieve what he has always wanted; to live in one place as a family together.
Alex Girl (Kim Chiu) has set goals for herself and her family. She has to pass UP and get a job later to help her crumbling family. The inn-restaurant her family owns isn’t doing well and it doesn’t help that her parents, Jonathan (Albert Martinez) and Vangie (Lotlot de Leon), are always fighting. She has no time for anything but to find ways to earn. Perhaps, money would bring the peace in her family that she has always wanted.
Alex Boy finds in Alex Girl the perfect partner for a tandem cycling competition he wants to join. In desperate need of funding for her studies, the prize of fifty thousand pesos convinces Alex Girl to team up with her annoying namesake. But everything Alex Girl has is talent; she lacks the proper techniques needed to win. As Alex Boy teaches her the techniques she needs, he learns from this driven girl the virtue of responsibility. In turn, Alex Boy makes Alex Girl see what she misses in her life; having fun.

[endtext]Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson explained to reporters at the January 19 press conference for their movie Paano Na Kaya? that they are not keen on putting label on their relationship. The former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition housemates said that what matters to them is that they genuinely care for each other. “Sa akin po kasi 2010 na so pagod na rin po ako sa mga safe answers. Sa tagal na magkasama kami ni Kim—four years—ang masasabi ko lang, hindi po kami nagko-confirm ng kung ano, basta ayaw ko ring sabihing we’re really close friends dahil sa point of view ko, lampas na po kami sa friendship. Basta sa amin, ayaw ko lang pong masaktan si Kim at ayaw n’ya ring masaktan ako,” Gerald explained.Kim said that they are not officially a couple, but admitted that she feels happy and secure whenever Gerald is around. “Lagi akong safe ‘pag nandiyan siya. Lagi niya akong pinapatawa, so parang isa siya sa mga taong nagpapasaya sa akin ngayon and masaya kami ‘pag magkasama kami.”A member of the press then revealed that she saw Kim and Gerald being sweet to each other while doing the groceries. The two suddenly broke apart when they saw the reporter. Gerald explained that they were just shopping for Christmas decorations for his house, which was near the location where they were shooting the film at that time.Even when reporters continued to pressure them to reveal the real score between them, Kim and Gerald stuck to their statement that they are more than friends but not yet a couple. “Hindi pa [kami]. Paano Na Kaya the movie tells the story of most if not all of us.It's a movie,about saving friendship while falling in love with your bestfriend.But this, I tell you, is going to be one of the most interesting romantic/drama movie ever.My personal take on the trailer is like I was on Kim's shoe and that I'm falling in love with my bestfriend who is apparently or momentarily blind for what I feel.And I am mute to say my feelings.This is every bestfriends love story (which is but common) so I am going to watch this!!
