Half-sisters Aileen and Romina, along with first cousins Ruth and Sandra, reunite in Camiguin to bury their grandmother. Accompanied by Sandra's friend, Lucy, the five girls dare to call on the spirits of the dead when they find their old Ouija board from when they were kids. The Ouija board is burned by accident before they are able to finish the ritual, trapping a murderous entity around them. As Brian takes photos of his friends, we see the eagerness with which everyone looks to the future: Gary and Gina are excited about getting married; Joey and Ese are a happy couple; and Ricky looks forward to starting his own business.

Fast forward: more than a year later.


We cut to Ricky's restaurant-bar, which is celebrating its first-year anniversary.

Ricky opened this bar with his current flame, Brenda, a pretty rich girl whose world revolves around her boyfriend.

As the other members of the barkada make their way to the bar, we find out that they aren't as close as they were when they were in school.

Gary, who used to be Ricky's best friend, doesn't even want to go to Ricky's bar because they had a falling out owing to Ricky's condescending attitude towards his other friends.

Gina prevails when she tells him that it is a barkada reunion, and not just a reunion with Ricky.

Joey and Ese are also having problems.

Ese has become too busy with a host of family problems and she is also trying to carve a name for herself as an up and coming fashion designer.

Joey has been spending time in an Internet chat room with another girl called "Sweetiepie."

As the process of the wedding preparation becomes unbearable for Gina, she and Gary discover that Gina has a hormonal problem, which may prevent her from getting pregnant.

Brian's mother continues to pressure him to do better in his medical school classes.

While she tries to destroy her son's dreams of being a photographer, Brian himself struggles to confront her and tell her that he's not cut out to be a doctor.

Melanie thinks of abandoning her ambition to be a nurse, because she just can't deal with death of her first patient.

Rudolf (Dolphy) is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit.After several unsuccessful attempts to escape, he realizes that he is in for the long haul and decides that his wife Sandra (Zsa Zsa Padilla) should remarry for the sake of their children -Melody (Jolina Magdangal) and Mark (Vandolph)- who have been made to believe anyway that he is already dead.The years pass and while contemplating his meaningless existence, he is informed that the real culprit has been caught and he is being released.

However, instead of being happy, he is saddened by the fact that he cannot go back to his family anymore. Nevertheless he pretends to be a piano tuner so that he can visit his children.Rudolf and Melody eventually become close.She introduces him to her boyfriend Vic (James Blanco), a student leader fighting for the preservation of Laguna de Bay. Being a nature lover himself, Rudolf supports Vic in his campaign to close the factory owned by Sandra’s fiancé.

This creates a complicated situation for Rudolf not only fighting for the environment but also trying to win back his family.
