According to reports which has just been confirmed by the Songbird.She, herself, Ms. Regine Velasquez is about to start filming for her first indie film with the working title ”Mrs. Recto” to be helmed by the director of the award winning "Ploning" Dante Nico Garcia.Under the production of Panoramanila, Mrs. Recto will definitely have that same Filipino feel in it that we had in Ploning.In Mrs. Recto, Regine Velasquez will play the role of a single mother whose source of income is selling ready-made term papers in Recto. Elmo Magalona will play the role of her genius son.Regine is set to start shooting Mrs. Recto on September 6.More updates soon!
