Poll of the Day: Who could be Chelsea's match winner in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich?

Who can step up and be the hero for the Blues as they attempt to fight against the odds and lift Europe's most coveted trophy during the final showdown in Germany?

POLL

Chelsea come up against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this Saturday as they attempt to win their first ever Champions League trophy.

And with the early odds stacked against the Stamford Bridge outfit, the stage is certainly set for one Blues player to step up to the plate and become a hero.

The bar has certainly been set with Fernando Torres' dramatic late goal in the last round against Barcelona which knocked out the holders, but can the Spaniard do it again? Or will it be his compatriot Juan Mata perhaps?

Didier Drogba has already scored in one final this season, against Liverpool in the FA Cup at Wembley, so might he be the hero in Munich? Or maybe his countryman Salomon Kalou?

Frank Lampard is another name in the frame, having scored Chelsea's only goal the last time they were in the final, against Manchester United in 2008.

That night, the game was won on penalties. Will that be the case again? Indeed could the match winner come at the other end of the pitch in the shape of Petr Cech?
